RECENT RATIFICATIONS:


On 22 July 2016, Peru recognised the competence of the Committee on Enforced Disappearances to receive individual communications in accordance with article 31 of the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

On 25 May 2016, Sri Lanka ratified the International Convention for the Protection of All persons from Enforced Disappearance and accepted the competence of the Committee under article 32

On 8 October 2015, Italy ratified the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance

On 14 August 2015, Belize acceded the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance

On 14 August 2015, Ukraine acceded the International Convention for the Protection of All persons from Enforced Disappearance and accepted the competence of the Committee under articles 31 and 32

On 24 July 2015, Niger ratified the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance

On 10 December 2015, Sri Lanka signed the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

On 24 September 2014, Angola signed the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.

On 24 September 2013, Guinea Bissau signed the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance.
