Representatives in possession of a grounds pass issued by the Security and Safety Section of the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) or United Nations Headquarters in New York (UNHQ) will have unrestricted access to conference rooms. However, they should announce themselves to the Secretariat by official letter.

Requests for accreditation to the 19th session of the Advisory Committee should be made online through the platform below to the Secretariat of the Advisory Committee as from 10 July 2017.

Each participant should create his or her personal profile and then register to the Advisory Committee meeting.
Please allow at least two working days for your request to be processed.
Upon presentation of identification and a copy of the confirmation email/e-ticket, a photo-badge valid for the duration of the session of the Committee will be issued at the "Pregny Gate" security entrance.

Access to the public gallery
A limited number of seats in the public gallery, above the Conference Room XX, are available for persons wishing to observe the proceedings of the Human Rights Council Advisory Committee without being accredited as participants (i.e. students, and academics). Access to the public gallery will be granted to individuals or groups depending on the availability of seating and other circumstances.
Individuals or groups who wish to observe the proceedings through the public gallery are required to email
firstname.lastname@example.org at least two working days in advance with the following information:
- Date(s) of the visit;
- Purpose of the visit; and
- Full name(s) of those wishing to attend (if group of more than 5 please submit full details on the
Badge request form and send it with the email request).

To organise a parallel event:
The organizer of the parallel event is requested to provide the Secretariat with a complete list of its guests on the
Badge request form, two working days prior to the meeting. After this, no further changes will be accepted. The list should be
accompanied by the official, signed letter requesting accreditation.
