Third session of the open-ended intergovernmental working group on transnational corporations and other business enterprises with respect to human rights
second sessions of the OEIGWG were dedicated to conducting constructive deliberations on the content, scope, nature and form of a future international instrument to regulate, in international human rights law, the activities of transnational corporations and other business enterprises.
The Chairperson-Rapporteur of the OEIGWG is currently preparing elements for a draft legally binding instrument, taking into consideration the discussions held during the first two sessions. The third session of the working group will use these draft elements as a basis for substantive negotiations.

23-27 October 2017 in
Room XX of the Palais des Nations, Geneva. Interpretation will be provided in the six official United Nations languages.

Only UN Member and Observer States, specialized agencies and other international organizations, national human rights institutions with "A status" accreditation, and NGOs with ECOSOC consultative status may attend and participate in the public meetings of the OEIGWG. Others may be able to access the public gallery or side events during the session.

Conference rooms XXII, XXIII, and XXVII are reserved for side events for the duration of the third session. Entities entitled to attend and participate in the public meetings of the OEIGWG may also make proposals for side events of relevance to the work of the OEIGWG. Please note that while we will do our best to accommodate all proposals, we remain subject to certain time and space limitations.
