Nutrition and the right to food

Nutrition and the right to food: In this 2012 report to the Human Rights Council (A/HRC/19/59) the Special Rapporteur explores the implications of the adequacy element of the right to food for agricultural policies and for the reshaping of the food system. The report argues that the diffenrent dimensions of malnutrition (undernutrition, micronutrient deficiency and overnutrition) must be addressed together through a life-course approach.
