Call for inputs on "focus issues" for the eighth session of the Open-ended Working Group on Ageing (deadline: 5 May)
The eighth session of the Open-ended Working Group on Ageing will focus on "equality and non-discrimination" and "neglect, violence and abuse," two of the three cluster issues proposed as focus areas during discussions on the way forward at the
All Member States, accredited non-governmental organizations and national human rights institutions with "A" status are invited to respond to "guiding questions" on the topics of "equality and non-discrimination" as well as "neglect, violence and abuse" in the context of older persons. The questions will serve as a useful tool to aid the Working Group in continuing its substantive discussion and to focus the deliberations of its forthcoming eighth session.
