Maya Sahli (Algeria)
Member, the Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent
Ms. Sahli has been teaching at the Faculty of Law at the National School of Magistrates and at the Diplomatic and International Relations Institute (I.D.R.I) in Algiers, Algeria.
Her areas of interest include women’s rights, child rights, human trafficking and the right to education.
Since 2011, she has been a member of the African Commission on Human and People’s Rights (ACPHR) and is the ACPHR Special Rapporteur on refugees, migrants and internally displaced persons in Africa.
