Over the past two decades, the Trust Fund has provided support to more than 400 projects which have directly assisted thousands of victims and potential victims of contemporary forms of slavery in 90 countries in all regions of the world.

2011 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Trust Fund.

On this occasion, the Board of Trustees would like to express its gratitude to its partners for their continuing efforts to support victims of contemporary forms of slavery, their families and their communities all over the world, and present envisaged activities to commemorate the anniversary.

The commemoration of the 20th anniversary offers the opportunity to reflect on the Trust Fund’s impact as a mechanism supporting the work of NGOs providing direct assistance to victims of contemporary forms of slavery.

It is also an opportunity to learn from the two decades of work in this field and to share with a wider audience the current challenges to the efforts to prevent slavery and to protect and fully rehabilitate victims.

The Board of trustees and the secretariat of the Fund have organised several activities on to celebrate the 20 years of its establishment:
