16th session
During its annual session, the Board of Trustees reviews applications and project proposals, adopts recommendations on applications for new grants, meets with donors, consults with the Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery and adopts other relevant recommendations to the Secretary-General on the activities of the Fund.
The 16th session of the Board was held in Geneva from 28 November to 5 December 2011.
The recommendations the Board adopted were approved by the High Commissioner for Human Rights on behalf of the Secretary-General on 30 December 2011.
The Board examined 318 admissible applications for project grants from 77 countries amounting to approximately US$ 4,183,000. 15th session

The 15th session of the Board was held in Geneva from 6 to 10 December 2010.
The recommendations the Board adopted were approved by the High Commissioner for Human Rights on behalf of the Secretary-General on 20 January 2011.
The Board examined 243 admissible applications for project grants from 61 countries amounting to approximately US$ 3,754,000. In addition, approximately 30 applications were declared inadmissible.
