About the Fund’s Projects
Over the years the Trust Fund has provided financial grants to over 350 NGOs and grassroots communities in 90 countries around the world.
Financial grants have been awarded to project proposals from organizations operating in Asia and Pacific; Africa; Europe, North America and Central Asia; Latin America and the Caribbean; and the Middle East and North Africa.
In selecting project proposals the Trust Fund prioritizes projects which consider the importance of the victims’ need for security, education, independence, and reintegration.
Examples of projects undertaken with previous Trust Fund grants include medical aid, food, shelter, and vocational training to victims of trafficking for sexual and economic exploitation.
