The conference will convene a meeting of academics and researchers, educators from all avenues of education, university students and pupils, and decision makers and influencers from Israel and from around the world. We seek to develop innovative humanistic pedagogical thinking through the learning of theories and applications for the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
- An educational program in the framework of a 5-unit matriculation program for high school students in the design arts classes. The program underpins the right of children and adolescents to self-expression and participation in issues that concern them, thus encouraging participating youth to develop critical and creative thinking skills on the way to decision making, and to become meaningful partners in development, influence and change in the society in which they live.
- A unique program of learning and research based on the principles of the UN Model in Elementary Education called "Ambassadors of Rights". The program simulates the work of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child through learning and discussions and by formulating possible ways of action for positioning children's status as rights and responsibility bearers and as participants in decision-making in world countries.
