The sixteenth session of the Working Group on the Right to Development

The Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group on the Right to Development will re-convene its 16th session from 1 to 4 September 2015, 10:00-13:00 and 15:00-18:00, in conference room XXI at the Palais des Nations in Geneva. At this session, the Working Group will continue to accomplish its mandate including, in particular, by considering, revising and refining the draft right to development criteria and corresponding operational sub-criteria, contained in the annex of addendum 2 of the final report of the high-level task force on the implementation of the right to development below.

Participants

The working group is open-ended. This means that all United Nations Member and Observer States, specialized agencies and other intergovernmental organizations, national human rights institutions accredited by the International Coordinating Committee and non-governmental organizations with ECOSOC consultative status may attend public meetings of the Working Group.
