13th session of the UN Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

The 13th session of the United Nations Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP) is scheduled to take place at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, from 8 to 12 June 2020.

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak and related decisions of the Swiss authorities (host country) and the United Nations Office at Geneva, preparations for the session including accreditation and side event requests are currently on hold. In this regard, it is also suggested that participants do not make any firm travel arrangements at this stage.
