Roma mediators in Moldova enable Roma families to enjoy their human rights
The Roma ethnic minority has long suffered from discrimination in all areas of life, from housing to education to employment to health care. In Moldova, a Roma community mediators’ program on the left bank of Nistru/Dniester River led by UN Human Rights is helping marginalized Roma families exercise their human rights and integrate into society.
