Background

Pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 57/10, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) will submit a final report on the implementation of the fourth phase (2020 – 2024) of the World Programme for Human Rights Education, based on national evaluation reports, to the Human Rights Council at its sixtieth session (September – October 2025). Accordingly, states have been requested to prepare and submit, on a voluntary basis, their national evaluation reports on the fourth phase of the World Programme, devoted to youth, to the Office of the High Commissioner by 15 May 2025. The national reports received by OHCHR will be published in September 2025.

How inputs will be used?

The Office of the High Commissioner will submit a final report on the implementation of the fourth phase, based on national evaluation reports received, to the Human Rights Council at its sixtieth session.
