Summary
The Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences, Dubravka Šimonović, visited Canada from 13 to 23 April 2018. In her report, she examines the gaps and challenges in fulfilling the obligations of the State to eliminate violence against women, its causes and consequences, and recommends measures for preventing and combating violence against women in the country.
