Summary

The Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences, Reem Alsalem, visited Mongolia from 29 November to 8 December 2021. In her report on the visit, she examines gaps and challenges in fulfilling the obligations of the State to eliminate violence against women, its causes and consequences, and recommends measures for preventing and combating violence against women in the country.
