In 2018, OHCHR visited Austria in order to assess the human rights situation of migrants, with a particular focus on laws, policies and practice related to the return of migrants to their countries of origin or to third countries. This report explains the key findings and offers recommendations to the Austrian Government to better protect the human rights of migrants in the context of return.
