During its 76th session, the General Assembly adopted resolution 76/168 requesting “the President of the General Assembly to convene a high-level meeting to mark the commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration.”

The High-Level Meeting will take place on Wednesday, 21 September 2022, at 10 a.m., in the Trusteeship Council Chamber, UN Headquarters, New York.

The meeting will be webcast live on UN WebTV in all six official languages of the United Nations.
