The International Independent Expert Mechanism to Advance Racial Justice and Equality in Law Enforcement will hold its 2nd private session from 11 September- 15 September 2023 in Geneva.
During its session, the Expert Mechanism will hold a public meeting open to all stakeholders on Thursday 14 September 15:00-17:00 in Geneva at the Palais des Nations (Room XXI). The meeting will be webcast (https://media.un.org/en/webtv) and held in a hybrid format. Interpretation will be provided in the six UN languages.
The purpose of the public meeting is to reach out, seeking information and views from all stakeholders on the implementation of the Expert Mechanism’s mandate in terms of Human Rights Council Resolution 47/21.
