BACKGROUND

The alternative names are Jin, Jinyu, Shanxi Hua and Taiyuan Hua. Although Shanxi is a northern province in China, the pronounces of Jin Yu is much different from other northern dialect of Chinese Language. For example, Jin Yu still have entering tone while most of other dialects have lost it.
