BACKGROUND

The language, which is a minority language in Southern China language, is mainly called as Maiunan. The alternative names are Ainan and Maonan 毛南语 毛南语 in Chinese.

Most of the native speakers of Maiunan are located in Guizhou and Guizhou. In history this language has no characters. As a result, Xi Lu, namely the translator of this version, have applied Latin characters to translate UDHR into Maiunan.
