Sidaamu Afoo is an Afro-Asiatic language belonging to the Cushitic family predominantly spoken in the Sidama regional state of Ethiopia. The Sidama regional state is located in south-central part of Ethiopia with an estimated total population of 4,469,020. The Sidaamu afoo language is spoken by the fifth largest number of mother tongue speakers in Ethiopia.
