贩运人口问题特别报告员
简介
人权委员会第六十届会议通过的2004/110号决议决定任命一名任期为三年的贩卖人口，尤其是妇女和儿童的人权问题特别报告员，旨在关注贩运受害者的人权问题。在同一决议中，委员会邀请特别报告员向委员会提交年度报告以及关于维护和保护受害者人权的相关措施建议。委员会要求报告员积极响应可能侵犯人权的可靠信息，以保护实际或潜在的贩运受害者的人权，并与其他相关特别报告员，尤其是妇女暴力问题特别报告员充分合作，全面考虑他们在此问题上的贡献。委员会还要求报告员与联合国相关机构、区域组织、相关罪行受害者及其代表展开合作。经济与社会理事会第2004/228号决议也批准了人权委员会的这项决议。
2014年7月，人权理事会第26/8号决议决定将该特别报告员的任期再延长三年。
特别报告员履行下列任务职责：
a）在被贩运者受到侵犯或其人权未能得到保护的情况下采取行动（见个人投诉）。
b）为实地研究某地的情况，并为在特定国家或地区防止和打击贩运人口以及保护其受害者的人权制订建议，开展国别访问。
c）就其任务活动提交年度报告。
